What Brief IQ Does
Brief IQ analyses creative briefs and returns a quality report identifying gaps, vague language, missing information, and contradictions. It can also draft a suggested clarification reply for you to review and send yourself. Brief IQ is a tool to assist your judgment — it is not a substitute for it.
Beta Service
Brief IQ is currently offered as an early/beta service. That means:
- Features may change, break, or be removed without notice.
- The analysis and suggested replies are generated by AI and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing anything Brief IQ produces before you rely on it or send it. Always read a suggested reply before sending it.
- Availability is not guaranteed.
Your Responsibilities
- You will use the Service only for lawful purposes and only with content you’re entitled to process.
- You are responsible for the content you submit and for anything you send after reviewing a Brief IQ draft.
- You will not misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to violate anyone’s rights.
AI-Generated Output
Reports and suggested replies are produced using automated AI analysis. Output can contain errors or omissions and does not represent professional advice. The decision to act on, edit, or send any output is yours. Brief IQ is not liable for the consequences of briefs you act on or messages you send.
The Draft-Only Design
The Gmail add-on does not send email on your behalf. It can only create a draft reply that you must review and send yourself. You are solely responsible for the content and sending of any message, including ones based on a Brief IQ draft.
Privacy
Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you also agree to that policy.
Intellectual Property
We own the Service and its underlying software and content. You own the briefs and content you submit. You grant us the limited right to process your submitted content as needed to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Pricing and Paid Plans
Some features may be free and others paid. Where paid plans apply, pricing and billing terms will be presented to you before you are charged. During beta, terms and pricing may change.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brief IQ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service or reliance on its output. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the three months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time and revoke the add-on’s access via your Google account permissions. We may suspend or end the Service, or your access to it, where reasonably necessary.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date and, where appropriate, communicated to you.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
